National Monument teams struggle poured from fire, smoke in the capital

JEMEZ SPRINGS, New Mexico (AP) - fire teams battle for a pair of New Mexico wildfires that burned thousands of acres, spurred the demand after the evacuation of dozens of homes and smoke in the capital of the tourist State of discharge.

State forestry officials say that the fire of Thompson Ridge near the town of Jemez Springs began on Friday and grew to an estimated 725 acres. Between 40 and 50 houses in the area were evacuated, as were drawn around 80 members of crew and a helicopter from an another fire to manage this one.
