To start trial of U.S. soldiers in the WikiLeaks case

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - accused American soldiers, with more than 700,000 secret documents which WikiLeaks Web site in Maryland on Monday in court, charged with the largest leak of classified information of in U.S. history.

Private first Class Bradley Manning, 25, a possible life sentence without parole is doomed for the 2010 leak that angered the U.S. Government.

The military court at Fort Meade, Maryland, is about 30 miles northeast of Washington, is expected until at least the end of August. Prosecutors have said that they expect call more than 100 witnesses.
